So, I'm back! \o/ I'd love to make a coherent yet not tedious summary of that wonderful week I spent with
nieseryjna and my friend Tim in Scotland, but wow that might be quite a challenge. Especially given how busy I am, how I find myself trapped into unexpected businesses and there seems to be a backward Sherlock marathon tonight. So how about a simple random recap instead. Assorted with pictures of course.
So there were castles, rain, sun, clouds, daffodils, the first landing field in history, sheep and sheeplets, long hair cows, rainbows, drunks in Glasgow stil able to give you useful bus directions, a volcano in the middle of the city, tours of gift shops, lochs and their wee monsters, mountains, fine pieces of ingeneering, William Wallace, Whisky tasting, driving on the left with a French car - driven by a Scot, B&B in the middle of nowhere, in the dark, the most classy University library, Starbucks, the Harry Potter viaduc from the other side, flowers, bagpipes...
Also, Nie didn't manage to crack the safe...
And here are some illustrations:
The Forth Bridge
