TDK TV is now attached to Team DeKay.
And for the occasion I've upgraded several videos to HD: NCIS, CSI, the 4400, Standoff and TMYLM. I've reuploaded Hot in Cleveland (now password protected). Check them out, cause Tim looks even better in HD!
I've also added links to all the videos I've been able to gather featuring Tim. And even re-uploaded the H&R Block commercials that had disappeared from the surface of the world wide web (can you believe that?!)
If you have anything that is missing from the collection or in better quality, we'd be happy to add it! :-)

And if anyone has that season 3 interview where Tim answers fan questions that used to be on the USA site and hulu, you'll get my eternal gratitude.
We're going live!

[livejournal.com profile] anodyneer and I have been cooking you a new fansite dedicated to our beloved Tim: Team DeKay Check it out and bookmark it! This is your new reference for everything TDK, all in one place. :-)
Of course, you'll recognise the unmistakable talent of [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 who did the awesome header. Kanarek is also providing TONS of screencaps for the gallery.
Said gallery is still growing, but the most recent stuff has been uploaded.

If you happen to have anything you want to contribute, feel free to contact us, via LJ, the site, or your usual social network.
Spread the word and come visit us. We're looking forward to hearing back from you!
Baddie, whumpy, menacing, scared, sexy... Tim goes to the Hamptons for a little Revenge.

(It always freaks me out a little when all kindness disappears from that lovely face...)

Also, Tell Me You Love Me has been upgraded to HD, for your greater pleasure. ;-)
Many thanks to Kanarek for providing the original material.
Okay, maybe I shouldn't have said TDK TV was complete, because I keep adding stuff... Though I'm sure you're not complaining. And this week I found Ask Harriet, from 1998. There's no trace of this one on Tim's official credits (no idea why). But it's super important, because it's when Tim and Willie met! :-)
Willie was a regular and and Tim did a guest appearance. (Though they don't actually interact at all...)

You can see the whole episode (with Willie's role) on Youtube, it's in 4 parts. First one is here.

Am I the only one wondering how come Tim has played gay roles so many times?
The Amazing [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 did it again! She's found the unfindable: 2 additional performances of our lovely Tim. \o/

I won't give up hope that one day we'll be able to see Naked Under Heaven. You may remember that back in 2012 (time flies!) I had reached out to Bill Bilowit, the director. He had kindly answered me at the time that they were hoping to get the movie properly released in 2013. Well this is 2014, so I thought it was time to ask for an update. More than a year later, that wouldn't appear too anxiously-harrassing-fangirl, right?

Bill's answer and a bonus Naked DeKay (the other kind of Naked) )
The ultimate combo: scruff, jeans, vest, shirt with rolled-up sleeves and open collar, mole. Plus a few moves, the adorable smile, and he cooks ratatouille!
Extra bonus: that ratatouille thing is for a movie project! \o/

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] anodyneer and Buefo for the original files! You girls rock!

Voilà, c'est bon! ;-)
FInal part! Or where Hagen is taken in the act and arrested, Neal smokes the cigar of victory and Peter offers him his own badge before running off to some well-deserved holidays with El.

Enjoy!

(Don't be scared by the end credits showing up in the middle, it's originally a 2 part episode, but I had to recut it differently to keep it under Vimeo's limits. Part 3 coming up next week.)

Password is the same as last week: tdktv
Oh oh oh! For Christmas, TDK TV offers you the extended Pilot of White Collar, by your Santas, [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 and myself. This is part 1/3, other parts will come next week and the week after.
To avoid any troubles, the video is password protected. The password is tdktv

Merry Christmas to you all !!

This is not over! I lied, and I bet you're not even upset about it. :-) Thanks to the joint efforts of some of our best Team DeKay members [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 and [livejournal.com profile] anodyneer, here I can present you an extra video: Tim's early role in the TV series Caroline in the City. That white sweater gives him something of a polar teddy bear.

Enjoy ! :-)

I know, I know, you were all eagerly waiting for that one... But I wanted to save it for the last. End my updates of TDK TV on a high note. :-)

Because, yes, TDK TV is virtually complete now. I'm stil missing a couple of unfindable shows. If you happen to find them, I'd be happy to add them to the collection. In particular, if any of you has Tim's episodes from Caroline in the City, with English audio, that would be great ! And we can still hope that one day they'll release Naked Under Heaven.
In the future, I might upgrade a couple shows to HD (esp. NCIS and CSI), and I might also compile some interviews. But basically, this is what TDK TV is now: a collection of +60 shows and movies, big roles and small. Funny, moving or scary. Heartbreaking or not that interesting. This is Tim DeKay, in all his versatility.

So, finally, Tell Me You Love Me. I've compiled all Tim's and Ally Walker's scenes from the Pilot. And just in that first episode, we already see a lot... Then I'm sure you won't be able to resist the impulse to watch more, because, well we all know there's more to see in Tell Me You Love Me. ;-) But beyond that, Tim is wonderful in that series, really. Touching, frustrating, true. And cute too. :-)

One last thing. Even though I'm sure you're all aware of this, I think I'm supposed to put a WARNING for nudity and adult content. ;-) But we're all adults, right ?

This is Tim's most recent film. Shot in 2009, and released in DVD last year. It's an indie artsy movie shot in black & white. More than politics, the film is about family and friend disasters...
It unfolds quite slowly but it gets all better once Tim appears.

I didn't upload his whole performance because I think some films need our support, and this is one of them. It's a weird film, but it's also one of Tim's most important role. Also, this is the kind of film that has more and more difficulties to exist in the film industry nowadays.
So, if you want to see how it's going to end - and Tim's imitation of G. W. Bush - I encourage you to buy the DVD or rent the film on instant Amazon.
We're all excited that White Collar is finally coming back !! But at the same time, admit it, you're freaking out to see Peter in jail. Ok, I am freaking out... But hey, that's not the first time we've seen Tim in such a bad situation. Just think of My Name is Earl, The Practice, NCIS, Body of Proof, Numb3rs, Ally McBeal, CSI...

Tim goes to jail - illustrated )
Ok, I'm done with the crappy B movies... Let's get back to better stuff.
So today is Walkout. That's an HBO film, starring Michael Peña. It tells the true story of Mexican-American high school students who organized walkouts to protest against their condition of education in the late 60's. Each time I see or read stories like that, I get a chill. This was no middle-age, this was the 20's century. The century I was born in. I try to think we're a better society now. But are we ?

Tim doesn't have a big role there, but at least he doesn't kill anyone. And he can walk, talk, hold his tray and eat his fries all at once ! ;-)

Control is one of those variations on the Nikita theme, with Ray Liotta and Willem Dafoe* .
Here, very far from the dapper Agent Peter Burke, Tim is all scruffy and revenge-driven. Also, he doesn't seem to be that concerned with tracking anklet... All you need is a good pair of pincers !
And yes, that's the second time one of his films opens on an execution... :-/

*(Not all Tim's films are masterpieces, but at least, he's met great people!)

Ok, that's not true, Tim didn't appear in "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". He's not that old. ;-)
But I've just added two little appearances from his early days, and in both, he is having dinner: If these Walls Could Talk (1996) and Buddy Boy (1999).

The things we do for the people we love...
Yes, I watched The Crow 3 - Salvation. And let me tell you, that movie is disturbing. I am easily impressionable when it comes to movies. So, yes, that film wasn't for me. I knew it, but I had to watch it anyway (see Oscar Wilde regarding temptation).
But the most disturbing aspect of that film isn't its weird gothico-supernatural revenge story (though that story is disturbing enough). No. It's Tim being a plain old unlikable really bad guy: crooked cop, rapist and murderer who got an innocent executed... It's disturbing because you just can't like such a character, but it's Tim, so it's all contradictory....

If you think Tim is always adorable, think again.... )

Now you all deserve a Bonus Adorable Dekay (and his dark side)
