Because I'm bored, in serious withdrawal, anxiously waiting for the renewal like everyone but I don't want to think about it, and desperate to have any real conversation going.... So, how about the simplest meme ever?

Ask me anything about White Collar.

Anything and everything you've always wanted to ask me, or talk about. It can be silly, serious, specific, general, shallow, thoughtful, meta...You'll be rewarded by a Bonus Whoever You Ask.

Of course you can play! :-)

Hmmm how do I see them in 10 years... Good question. I guess it's dependent on how I see the end of the series. I used to want an open ending. Neal free, a last hug, and then, it'd be up to us to decide what the future would hold. But the more it goes, the more it seems Neal doesn't want to remain a criminal. At first it looked like he loved Peter too much and that was the one thing preventing him from going back to his life of crime. But despite the many crimes he continues to commit, it seems more obvious now that Neal doesn't like the downsides of being a criminal. The lies, the deception, the impossibility to build a future, relationships... He also doesn't seem as proud as he used to, to be a criminal. So I think Neal really wants to go straight (or fairly straight).

As for Peter and El, well, season 5 gave me a lot to pounder too. I have the feeling the ambitious young Agent Jill had known isn't who Peter is anymore. He might have wanted to rise in the hierarchy of the bureau, but his true love is in the field. He has never appeared very bothered by his career. I think he wanted that DC job because he needed to feel he was back on more solid grounds after all that happened. But a desk job isn't where his heart is.
So, to me, in 10 years, he'll still be ASAC. From there he'll have a better perception on what's going on with his team, with the cases, with people. He'll go occasionally on the field, like Hughes.
I don't believe in 10 years Peter and El will still be separated. So, either she'll come back to NY - she can find a job at one of those great museums in the city - or Peter will be transfered to DC. He could probably take over the Art Crime division there.

By then, Neal will have found his place in the world, a legitimate job. I'm of those who thought that Neal and Sara were a great match and Neal could have a great time working for Sterling Bosch. Or any other company of that sort. In any case, he'll have a independent life from the Burkes. Maybe still living close, or in another town. But they'll always make sure to keep in touch, visiting each other often. Mozzie popping up, too (Mozzie being the exact same old Mozzie).
And Peter would call Neal all the time. Just to check where he is. Even 10 years later, Peter won't be able to get rid of the habit of checking on Neal all the time. ;-)

And a bonus Peter for you.

(You know I'm always ready to answer questions about Peter or Tim... ;-) )

Thank you!

For both the terrific answer and the lovely pic of Peter!

If you're up for another question...

If you could fantasy cast TDK in anything - television show, movie, what role(s) would you give your soul to see him in?

Oh fun questions.
I'd love for Tim to appear in Castle and The Good Wife, because they are some of the other shows I really enjoy. Person of Interest could be cool to. That shows has grown on me recently. Plus they're both NY shows and they share a lot of guest stars.

Of course, I would love to see Tim in a significant role in a movie. Can you imagine, seeing him on the big screen? (technically, since I saw Get Smart, I have seen Tim already on the big screen. Too bad it was before I knew him... And given the small part, that doesn't really count). He'd be great in a very human, emotional, vulnerable role.

Like The Descendants. He would have been wonderful in Clooney's role. This is the kind of role totally made for Tim. At the same time emotional with also a comedy side.

I would also just love to see him in a Coen Bros. movie.

A friend also mentioned Flowers for Algernon. I'm sure he'd be terrific, and I'd be such a wreck...

But most of all, I'd just give my soul to see him in a good role in a good movie. And a movie released worldwide. Not a movie stuck in a drawer for years like Naked Under Heaven (by the way, I'd also give my soul to see that one. How many souls can I sell?)
