Today is George Clooney's birthday. It is also Orson Welles', who would have turned 100 today. Yep, they're both sharing the same birthday. No pressure George... ;)

Anyway, this is a good occasion to (re)discover Orson Welles' famous War of the Worlds radio broadcast, that supposedly created a wave of panic over the country... That was 1938, and this is just absolutely brilliant.

On a different note, unless you're allergic to any talks against the 2nd amendement, I highly recommand this very funny video from Jim Jefferies, making very good arguments against gun ownership.

Should get my S6 DVD tomorrow (Amazon seems to be rather expeditive, I appreciate), but I've already caught the extras circulating here and there. Of course, it made me want to watch the season again. And made me feel all nostalgic again. And then. There was this deleted scene:

I sure don't want the story to end here. )

And don't worry, I am actively working on this issue. I'll get passed it. I need to work this out so that I can imagine them walking out into the sunset.

I hate this time of year where all my shows are ending at once. Last Man on Earth and Person of Interest this week. The Good Wife and Castle next week. And that's it?! Man, I need new shows in my life.

very short spoilery thoughts on Person of Interest )

Last but not least, you can still request art for the Nepal fandomAid.
