If she walks out now, I can't see how they can work. Because there will always be a case, always dragons to fight - this could happen over and over again. So either Kate learns to let these things go, or she does it with Castle, or they're done.
BTW, does anyone actually give a f*ck about the new mystery? Because I really don't...
I agree. On both accounts. And I didn't really care for the "who killed my Mom" plot to begin with (I'm not a fan of several-season-long arcs, cause they just don't make sense), but there's nothing more annoying than reopening an arc that was close. So not only I don't care, but I'm actually pretty annoyed. If at least it was something new, but there was no reason to tie it back to that damn senator.
At least I supposed that was the last time we saw the senator...
But the whole thing had a big feeling of déjà-vu. "You're way over your head" "you need to back off" "they're more powerful that you" "I can't let them go, they killed my mom/friends"...
Also it was kinda weird that they found out that the analyst had falsified his resume, but just dropped it because Kate trusts him (for no real reason).
Yeah, I'm not a happy bunny either! But I expect stupid 'break them up for a bit/get them back together' plots from these sort of shows (been through it with Bones more than once), I just wish they didn't do them!!
All I can hope is that somehow Kate gets over this obsessive streak, before she loses everything and ends up like Castle's stepmum!
I'm still upset at Beckett, but you gotta love Castle, who is doing everything again to win her again. Last night's episode was truly epic! Still not happy with the underlying long arc thing, but the rest of it was pure Castle.
