Day 6 - Your favorite comedy movie

I'll go with OSS 117, both movies. OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies, and OSS 117: Lost in Rio. They're French movies, spy flick spoofs, starring Jean Dujardin as a very French spy and directed by Michel Hazanavicius... and they're brilliant. I've been watching them with American and Chilian friends, and they enjoyed it, so I guess that French humor translates well.

Though it's a close call with Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra. Another French comedy, and one of the finest France offers in term of comedy. Given all the references and easter eggs, I don't know how well it translates in English, and man it must have been a nightmare to translate...

Oh all depends on translation, in Asterix and Obelix Mission Cleopatra there is this scene that an egyptian girl is saying something and she is either shuttering or just looses some words - Polish version is "Idea coś ci przerywa" (english "Something interrupts you Idea"). Which was hilarious and still is because we had a mobile phone company called Idea :D

That's awesome. In French her name is Itineris, which was a mobile phone brand back then (doesn't exist anymore).

They managed to do similar things with OSS 117. Really good work on the translation.

Most hilarious thing is it just entered the everyday language :)

LOL! Actually it became a saying for a while in France too.
