Go check her art here! Title is a quote from a poem by Robert Frost, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
[...]The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
      But I have promises to keep,
      And miles to go before I sleep,
      And miles to go before I sleep.

Bittersweet. We know the show won't give us anything as emotionally satisfying, as true to the characters and (after six years) as well-earned as this. Merci beaucoup.

Yeah, I guess a TV show is not a book, but I'm confident it'll be just as thrilling. I'm not worried. :-) But hey, that's what fanfics are for, aren't they?
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you! ♥

Terrific story. Between missing his wife and his concern and determination to find Neal of course Peter would not be able to sleep. He knew he would miss his wife but needed to let her go, and of course she knew exactly when Peter would need her the most and made it back to New York for the weekend. His concern and determination to get Neal back, even allowing Mozzie access to FBI files.

The ending was perfect. Our boys know that don’t see eye to eye, but they always find a way to work through their differences.

I Loved this. Peter's desperation,  his teamwork with Mozzie, the moment when the boys are reunited.  And Peter falling asleep in a hospital bed next to Neal....Awwwww. And El is the word of wisdom. God, such a shame the show will never give us this kind of closure between the boys. The discussion about Neal being a criminal was priceless.  Hugs

I'm so sorry it got me this long to comment, but as you know, things have been rather sucktastic lately /o\ But now I have the weekend to enjoy and I kicked it off with reading your bb \o/

You have officially outdone yourself, the case itself, Peter's worry and fear and also loneliness, Peter and El trying to make the best out of the new arrangement, poor Neal refusing to go without a fight and paying the price in injuries - it's all so wonderfully linked together and it make the story such an awesome read \o/ Right down to the talk between the boys and both of them finally working past their issues ♥

It's perfect, thanks for writing this. I really enjoyed this :D \o/

No worries about being late in commenting. I was actually getting worried about you, because it's rather unusual for you to get so quiet. ;-) I hope things will get better! {{{hugs}}}
