According to Willie, they should start filming Season 6 in 8 to 12 weeks!

Now the big question is: Will The Curls have time to grow back in 8 to 12 weeks?

Definitely a great thing although I think he was making an assumption based on previous seasons. I have no doubt the cast and crew already know the decision. I wish USA would make it official :D

Well, to me this is just as good as an official announcement. It's a given there'll be a season 6 by now.
I just wish there'd be an official announcement so that certain people would stop whinning and stressing over the renewal.

I also wonder how many episodes we'll get...

I can't actually watch the vid because I don't have loudspeakers at work (woe!) so I can't actually comment on what Willie says, but...

As long as there's no official announcement, I'll keep my squee hidden in a box. I just double-checked the usual places where you can find this kind of info, and there's nada. So... *waits impatiently and crosses fingers*)

Well, he's clearly expecting a season 6, which is definitely a good sign, but until the official announcement, we can't be sure. Wish they'd hurry that up!!

I'm of two minds with this...

1 - A few weeks ago, Willie was definitely pissed in his tweets about the lack of any news regarding renewal. So, if he had no news, I think he might have simply said "White Collar" without expanding on the start of filming.

2 - No official word from the network still means I can't consider this definitive.

So, until the word is official, I have to keep thinking that the show is cancelled.

lol, I guess I'm too much of a "glass half full" kind of girl. Until they'll tell me positively that the show is cancelled, I'll assume it'll go on.

I don't think he'd talk about starting filming the next season if he wasn't assuming it's a go.

I definitely think it's a "go". The question is ... Did Willie hear an approximate date for the shooting to begin?
Not sure why we haven't heard the official announcement for S6!

Well, if there's a season 6 to shoot, they would need dates to know if they can sign on other commitments. Especially with Matt's busy agenda.

As for the late announcement, maybe they're waiting to see how this seasons goes and maybe negociate the number of upcoming seasons. Or episodes.

Thanks for the video. I wish they would announce something one way or the other. Seeing people stressing about the renewal makes me stressed. :)

I don't see why their wouldn't be a 6th season. We need at least one more season to wrap everything up. If they had to it could be a shorter season too. I was thinking maybe the next season is the final one and they will announce it after the season finale this month?

He looks so cute with the short hair. Personally I wouldn't mind if they didn't yet. :)
