But no matter how troubled was Neal and Peter's relationship in season 3, the song doesn't fit them. They just never stopped loving each other. No, the real break-up which happened in season 3 was between Peter and Kramer...

OMFG I LOVE THIS. This is perfect.

I feel so sorry for Peter at the end of season 3 (going into season 4), because I honestly believe he lost a friend (and a big chunk of his own identity, maybe) in his falling out with Kramer. Peter. :(

I also thought this song had to be vidded, but had no idea how :-) Beautiful clip. I'm probably misreading the clip, but towards the end, I had the feeling the speaker/singer became Kramer. From his pov, I assume, Peter was the one who became a stranger.

Oh no you actually read it correctly !
The second part of the song is supposed to be the second character (the girl in the original version - Matt in the Glee one) But I wasn't sure it went across properly in my vid... So I'm glad you saw it that way :-) thanks !!
Indeed Peter also becomes a stranger to kramer, and I think Kramer is honestly as disappointed in Peter than Peter is in Kramer.
