that was great, it make me smile too :) and thinking well the two things - the streaming lights as well as the shot of reflection are I think more camera operator than director... but well no clue :) I would think Kaminski - favorite operator of Spielberg would play here a big role. Ah and now I wish to see Indiana Jones movies again....

I would think it is the director's idea. He is the one who says "eh I'd like this shot to have some cool streaming lights coming from here, so someone put a big light spot behind the wall."
But it is the camera op who makes it work, particularly for the reflexion thing.

Just like the awestruck faces. ^^ The director says "look surprised/shock/in awe..." and the actor makes the face...

well you have more experience in observing live filming than I do, so I will believe your version :P

lol well, I do know everything about actors going over and over and over their lines while the scene is shot from all angles, and I've a lot of training about reading body language because I couldn't hear the dialogues...
(And I also know that some actor that I would not name prefer spending time with the fans watching the filming than rehearsing lines for the next day ;-) )

But the technical stuff ? Not so much. Pam was paying much more attention to that than me...
I'll try to pay more attention this year. ;-)

you do that - pay attention to technical stuff a little bit more, and don't forget to hug Tim! and Matt if you will be able, from me too :P

No problem. No problem at all. You know it's actually the perfect excuse. "my friend from Poland couldn't come but she asked me to give you a hug..." *g*

Heeeeee! And I even knew most of those movies (well, they're the big ones, but still. I'm usually clueless about movies. And actors. And directors and ...), which made me all nostalgic. But it made me smile, too.

Some of those films were hard to miss at the time. Especially for our generation. :-)

Thanks so much for this - I really thought one of them would be the long drawn out emotional ending which drains you of every single tear in your body.....
