Z - Zoo favorite: As a principle I don't like zoos. But there's a little one right by my workplace and I love love love the Red Pandas (they're cute, and they sleep all the time. Sometimes they wake up to eat, and then get back to sleep. I'm sure I've been a Red Panda in a previous life) and also Orang Outans and some monkeys, because they're really funny.

140x220 cm that's the weirdest bed size I have seen... :P and I'm in Europe too :P (or so it seems sometimes)

^^ no... last year I tried to behave. He put his arm around me for the picture, but I didn't dare hug him. I'll try to be more brave this year ;-)

Lol you didn't have to change the size of the bed :P I'm actually unsure, cos mine is either 140x200 or 140x220 I don't think I measured it in the lest few years! but 140x190 sounds even stranger

ahahah the million dollar question... I'm conflicted, and I don't know what I want. As a consequence, I don't do anything and I'm stressed.
I really wanted to get a post-doc across the pond. But plans didn't work out. So I was sad. But now I'm not sure I still want to. Because I love my life the way it is, right now, in Paris. Problem is, my current post-doc can last one more year max. So I have to find something.
People tell me to put my career first. But I don't want that. I'm not a career-driven person. I don't live for my job.

And since I was going nowhere with my job, I decided it wasn't a reason not to go anywhere with my love life, so yes, I've moved with my boyfriend in a cute little appartement last month. :-)

So, as for now, my plan is to stay one more year in Paris. And if I can't find a permanent position by then, I'll probably do a post-doc in the US.

Life's complicated... ;-)

lol. Well, once you're "there" it's not that bad, but I can never get myself to go. I always find something else to do, and something to eat - until I really can't pospon anymore.
