I know everyone is still recovering from The Normal Heart and all over Matt right now, but I haven't seen it yet, so I'm still drolling over those pictures of Tim at the LA premiere.
Also, as I'm taking a break in the photo meme (the last days require some more research that I had postponed and didn't find time to do), I thought some nice fanart would make up for it.
This is truly only a variation of my previous art I posted a few days ago for TDK daily, but I just needed to have it to fit my desktop... Gosh that smile... ♥.♥

The Americans: One more show to end its season! That one was really great. I truly felt that the second season shifted into second gear. The entire season was set in motion by what happened in the premiere. And that series truly gives you things to think over. Oh and the birth of the "Arpanet". The 80's in all their technological glory! :-)
And with no proper cliffhanger, I still wonder very much wehre this is going!

And I'm relieved that El's best friend finally ditched Fowler, that was just totally inappropriate. LOL (actually, it's weird I feel bad for Stan, even though it's all his fault)

We Need to Talk about Kevin: I remember hearing (vaguely) about this film when it first hit theaters a couple years ago. I love Tilda Swinton and thought about going and see it. I remember praises about it. I don't know why I didn't actually go see it, but when I saw it was on French TV last week, I made sure to be on time. With nothing in mind besides the fact it was a great film. I WASN'T PREPARED for THAT. This film, yes it is great. But man is it upsetting and disturbing and psychologically violent.

Side Note on Castle: I've been reading Castle's books, the Nikki Heat series. In themselves, they're just your basics crime novels. Nothing special about them. Except they've been written by Richard Castle, and as a meta study of the character, they're fascinating. Of course, there's the fantasy aspect about Beckett as Nikki Heat falls for her ride-along journalist partner. Which is funny when you think it was written during season one. But there's more. In the Heat universe, Castle's alter-ego is a Pulitzer winner investigation journalist. Someone successful, but also doing some real, serious work. Not a frivolous crime novel writer... The similarities between the Heat universe and Castle's reality are fun, but it's in the differences that lies the real story.

And I'm keeping The Normal Heart for tomorrow. :-)
