I know it's been an eternity and I apologize for disappearing from the surface of LJ. It seems there *is* such thing as a limited time that one can spend on social media. And as I'm spending more time elsewhere, I seem to be forgetting my LJ... *sad face*
I spend most of my social media time over on Twitter and Tumblr these days... The main reason being I've fallen into the Person of Interest/Jim Caviezel fandom and that's where all the cool kids are. Which means I created my third Twitter account *rolls eyes*
So, yes, depending on your interests you can follow me on Twitter at @Aragarna, @TeamDeKay, or the shiny new one (and currenly most active) @CaviezelDaily. And yes, I also made the jump and joined Tumblr. Same handles there, Aragarna, TeamDeKay and CaviezelDaily. Though there it's really mostly about posting pretty pics and gifs of Jim, and occasionally remembering I also have a Tumblr for Tim... I still find Tumblr messy, but Tumblr is the only one where gifs remain gifs...
I'm also still writing POI fics. :-) Just wrapped up a 10k post-finale AU! To be posted as soon as my beta sends me back the last part. *happy dance*

Like most people, I'm watching with sincere terror Trump being exactly what we feared he'd be, signing executive orders after executive orders, tweeting more hate than I can post pretty pics of Jim and Tim combined, and sending us decades backward...
As a foreigner, a woman and a scientist, I feel suddenly parlicularly targetted - and thus, vindicative. And if there is one thing I never thought I would have to become vindicative about is being a scientist. When you see a network headline say "National Park goes rogue, tweets scientific facts" you know there's something VERY WRONG. The whole alternative facts mess and the disdain for truth and facts horrifies me.
And that was even before the Muslim ban...
But I want to end on a more positive note: I want to thank all the people protesting and opposing all of Trump's wrong doing, by any possible, legal mean. Be it those federal judges debunking his executive orders, or the simple citizen spontaneously protesting at airport in support of refugees. Never forget, this is a democracy, you have the power and you have to make your voice heard.
So thank you, all of you.
Oh and since apparently talking about Global Warming is "going rogue". Let's go rogue. Global Warming is real. And I'm not saying that because that's what I believe. The thing about Science is that it's not a matter of believes or opinion. Ignoring a scientific fact doesn't make it go away. The Earth is 4.5 billion years, rotates around the sun and is warming up right now. Actual, real, facts.
