oh vacations are tiring... Not that I really complain because I love travelling. Well, visiting different countries. Not the travel in itself. 13 hours flights are no fun. When are they going to invent teleportation?
But anyway, I had a great time in Japan. Japan is a country so full of contrasts of tradition vs. modernity. And hot. Also, apparently Japanese can't stand silent. There's always something bipping somewhere. Except in temples. Temples are so quiet and peaceful. And beautiful.
I'll try to sort out my pics and post some soon. But in the meantime, you can see some on my Instagram account. I've posted a pic a day for the 18 days I've spent there.
In other news, first, a very happy birthday to my buddy
joy2190 !! :)
Also, I've watched Batman v Superman on the plane. Boy that was terrible. I can't believe they turned Batman into a psychopathe. And the whole thing was just a stupid mess....
I also finished the new season of Orange is the New Black. I watched it in chunks, and I got interrupted - because those Shinkansen trains are so fast - at the 47th minutes of episode 11. So on the plane on my way back yesterday, I watched the end of episode 11 and the last 2 episodes.
And apparently I had stopped right before everything went South. In the 10 last minutes of episode 11, we have the end of the flashback on Crazy Eyes, Healy ready to take the plunge, and Lolly sent to the psych yard....
But that's not even close to the real heartbreak of episode 12... I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY KILLED POUSSEY!!! *cries* She was such a sweet girl. One of my favorite characters. This is so unfair. I knew something had to go wrong, she and Soso were way too happy for too long. But NOT THIS !!
And I was stuck on a plane in the dark, crying my eyes out...
There's a lot I missed in 3 weeks, so my apologizes if I miss your posts, birthday or fics. Please, let me know if I've missed something that I would have been interested in.
And this is just in. There's been another attack in France, in Nice, tonight. Dozens of dead. On Bastille day... The world is going to hell...

OITNB SPOILERS
Date: 2016-07-16 06:49 am (UTC)Oh, man, I was spoiled for Poussey's death because I stupidly Googled the show before I was done watching, but it still hurt like a bitch. I WANT HER BAAAAAACK! She was one of my faves. And oh man, Lolly. I related to her more than I really should have, and the end of her storyline really hurt. I wanted to see more of her too. Why does this show keep writing off characters I love?? :(
Re: OITNB SPOILERS
Date: 2016-07-16 03:40 pm (UTC)I really like Lolly too! It really hurt. It's mean of them to get us to be attached to them and then send them off. *cries*
I almost got spoiled because I saw a poll of the "most emotional death on TV this season" and "OITNB episode 12's death" was in the poll... But at least I didn't know who it was - and I never would have guessed Poussey! *cries more*
Re: OITNB SPOILERS
Date: 2016-07-16 07:37 pm (UTC)I know, right? Poussey's just too precious. Too good.
