Side grammar note: Shouldn't it be "be forgotten"?
And more to the point, I can't believe this is episode 8 already. *sigh* But this is going to be sooo epic!
Mary's cancer is cured!! \o/ Not that she ever looked much sick or that there was any realy doubt about it, but the important fact here is: It means Jimmy is in BIG troubles! Would Otto decide to kick Jimmy out, he'd have only 12 littles hours left...
And after this week's episode, Jimmy might need a little more than 12 hours to truly reconcile with Duval and his family...
Now we know a bit more why Duval is so angry at him. Really Jimmy, you created such a mess, you might need an entire lifetime to make up for it...
Finally, Gracie's back! And that means yet another headache for Duval... You gotta admit the man has a LOT on his plate...
Though, you know Duval, for someone who is so smart when it comes to handle drug dealers, you seem quite clueless when it comes to your own daughter... And wait until she learns you hid something as big as Jimmy's identity to her.
Once again a lot of Jimmy-Duval scenes, both the cute one (playing catch in te Goodwin's house) or the more confrontational ones...
That scene at the FBI! OMG!
Though it seems both Pritchard boys need to remember to think twice before saying something. First Jimmy's Solly slip, and then Duval taking on him in the middle of his workplace, and apparently forgetting also that taking a fight with Jimmy is a very bad idea...
But at the end of the day, the Pritchard boys still make a hell of a good team. ;)
Once again Duval won the price for the best repartee. "It only took you coming back from the dead to finally see the light" ... LOL
Oh and a note about Madchen, the girl from Veiled Threat. I'm jealous. And I might hate her just a little. Two guest starring shot with Tim, first a tango in one of the hottest scenes of the entire series in White Collar, and now a very close and thorough pat-down in Second Chance... And yet, everytime she wants him dead...
I can't wait for next week's episode, trying very hard not to think of that growing separation anxiety feeling... The finale episodes are gonna be so epic. With Otto turning on Mary and Jimmy, Connor and Alexa plotting against Otto, Gracie and Helen still in the dark about Jimmy, and Jimmy who... wait...
Does Alexa need a tank? Or is Connor's technology able to detach you from that 12 hours deadline?
Hmmm I was imagining the end of the season with Jimmy dying (again) but maybe on the contrary he could come back to life for real. Assuming he'd want to.

Clueless but oh so charming daddy. Can't believe Gracie slammed the door on that adorable face...

Date: 2016-03-07 06:51 am (UTC)Great episode. I had totally forgotten the car/heroin dealer was our WC black widow!
I loved Duval's expression when his daughter slammed the door, so reminiscent of Peter when Neal or Mozzie did something he couldn't deal with.
I do hope we get a second season. This one is turning out so well. So, if we stick to schedule we're due a wink next week!

Date: 2016-03-07 02:04 pm (UTC)I'm not particularly optiministic about season 2, though I'm starting to see how things could develop.
And yes, that's the black widow, but she was brunette in WC. ;)
Ok Ok, I won't question the Burn. He's lucky he's Scottish.... ;)

Date: 2016-03-10 08:13 pm (UTC)but OMG I feel like Otto is going to show his dark side more and more... He is such a complex character. A bit "on the spectrum", but still relatively functional. He does have feelings, but also shows serious psychopathic tendencies... I certainly don't like him much as a person, but he sure is an interesting character.
I think apart from Mary who seems a bit too on-dimensional, all the characters are quite well rounded.
And yes, OMG all the emotions! Poor Duval... He has a lot on his plate... (But I'd be happy to bring him some comfort. It seems he could use the comfort of a nice girl... ;) )
