Date: 2015-12-08 09:39 pm (UTC)Ties That Bind: AU where the anklet is a bit more than just that - it creates a bond between Neal and Peter. Will Neal fight it, even though there are rumors about repercussions for both of them should that happen?

Also set after the finale (probably short before Peter finds the container). You can run from your enemies, but you can't cut the ties you created yourself. Neal learns it the hard way.
The Company of Strangers: Peter and Neal didn't meet in front of the bank for the first time. When Peter was young, he got stranded with his car in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri (he's there for whatever reason), and since it was night and heavy raining, two women and a little boy give him shelter for the night.
Missing Persons: either set in season 3 or between seasons 5 and 6. Peter and the team have to work with the Missing Persons Unit of the FBI (either the one with Kimberly Rice or the one from the TV show where Tim did a guest stint - your choice). Of course, there's some headbutting on the horizon.
Cherished: First mother's day after Neal C. has returned to them, Elizabeth really feels cherished - who wouldn't with three guys bustling around you??

Your idea for the Missing Persons is actually quite close to my post-S5 Big Bang last year. I had Peter and Rice working together to find Neal.
For New Start I was actually tempted to write something for when Neal comes back to NY.

You could perhaps do something with Satchmo and Peter and that sort of idea? Or Harold and Bear, if you fancy a change of fandom!

Date: 2015-12-09 07:33 pm (UTC)Sudden Danger: For some reason, this made me think of Diana. Shortly after she comes back to the FBI after having Theo, she finds herself in a dangerous situation and has a small freakout afterwards when she thinks of being hurt and Theo being alone...
The company of strangers: In a metaphoric manner. Basically, something huge happens in a person's life and suddenly the whole world and everyone around them seem alien and off. (Suggestions: Neal after Kate's death; Peter after being arrested/coming back to the FBI; Peter after covering for Neal's crimes in S5; Mozzie/Peter after Neal's "death" etc.)
Formidable: Pre-series; the first time Neal evades Peter; the first time Peter almost catches him. Either of them (or both) realize that they underestimated the other and look forward to their next round.
Power corrupts: TBH, this screams POI to me. So many possible plots there...
Loathing: A Neal introspection piece after he discovers the truth about Rachel. It didn't feel like he was talking just about her when he critisized her life of lies...
Polite society: At Neal's "funeral", there is a mix of law enforcement and criminals. An outside observer (Agent Rice?) notes the strange truce between them caused by the occasion.
A New Start: Post-season 6?
Perfect: Maybe part of your Little Neal series; Neal is back, his family is together and Peter simply feels happy.
