One is a tv movie, the other a feature film. In the first one, Tim is an alien (or, more accurately, infected by an alien virus), in the second one, he is a cow-boy. In both cases, he is hit in the head and he is out.... Poor baby.

really ? It's working just fine for me. :-/ Dunno. Maybe a problem with Vimeo ? Do you usually can watch the videos ?
If you're using an old computer or a slow internet, give the video some time to load. Vimeo videos are sometimes less easy to watch than Youtube's but I'm not in Youtube's good graces, so I can't play with fire there.

I have an old computer and a slow internet. When I download the videos, my player will play the sound but the picture won't show.

Oh crap. And I guess it's the same with all the videos then ?
Do you have VLC player? It's very light, and very powerful. If you download the video files to your computer, then it should read it.

Otherwise, well, win the lottery and buy a new computer ? ;-)
