The 30 day Movie Challenge - Day 1

I saw that on Twitter, and even though it is going to be quite a challenge for certain questions, I thought it'd be fun.

Day 1 - Your favorite movie.

My reflex was to say Ocean's Eleven (the 2001 version), or O' Brother, Where are Thou?. I've kinda been saying that for 15 years. Are they still my favorite movies? I do love them, but I've seen so many movies since, among which some awesome ones. That's kind of an impossible question to answer, and I'm kinda drawing a blank, so let's say they're still my favorite movies. And I do think that's a very telling choice regarding my tastes in movies.

(I see what you're thinking, but you're wrong. I don't mention those films because I love George Clooney, I love George Clooney because he is in some of my favorite movies.)

This would be a real challenge for me. I'm not much of a fan of movies in general. The ones I usually like the most are the franchise ones with multiple sequels like Marvel movies, Star wars or Star trek.

hmm I almost feel inspired to pick up this meme too, just to write anything every day... I have to admit I never saw "O' Brother, Where are Thou?" ... maybe I will, one day.

Oh yes, do it!! :D It's not as hard as it looks. Just pick the first film that comes to your mind.

And you *have* to watch O Brother. Best Coen film ever. It's funny, weird, and has a terrific soundtrack (well, you better like music from the 30's that is...). But just for the three main actors, it's definitely worth watching.
