aragarnaSo, Spring has finally reached the North Midwest.Trees are blooming. See!
Last weekend, I went to Chicago for the first time! And by bus! Which is pretty cool and sooo cheap. Except it's a challenge to write on a bus. The trip itself is rather boring. The Wisconsin countryside is sooo flat. Chicago, on the other hand, was really cool. Maybe not as flamboyant as New York City, but it has it's own character. And it does feel more gothic than the actual Gotham City (which is probably why they shot The Dark Knight movies there). I did some shopping and sightseeing. reve_silencieux, and we talked our heads off about White Collar and fanfictions!
In other news, Chinese roommate is collecting packages in front of her room door. She keeps receiving packages (that's about 2-3 weeks of mail) but doesn't open them. How she even gets in there is a mystery... But I can assure you, she comes in and out every day. And in case you're wondering, that's only her own shoes there. From the past two years...
