I really don't have time for this right now, but of course, I can't resist a meme. Ganked from
leesa_perrie. To add some spice to this, I may answer for any form or art, depending on how I feel about the questions.
Pick a number, any number, and I'll answer it...
1. Which is your favorite of the fics you've written for X fandom? (you can choose, one or more) *
2. Favorite piece overall?
3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?
4. Which has the most "you" in it, however you'd define that?
5. What is an image/set of images that you're particularly proud of?
6. Idea that you always wanted to write but could never make work?
7. Least favorite plot point/chapter/moment?
8. Favorite plot point/chapter/moment?
9. Favorite character to write?
10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you've written
11. If I'm showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?
12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?
13. Are there any things that might have happened in any of your stories, but you changed them at the last minute? (So-and-so dies, they don't actually kiss, main character has long extended ballet-based dream sequence, etc.)
14. Would you want to write canon for any of your fandoms (like be hired by showrunner to do an episode)? Which one?
15. Does font matter to you when you're writing a draft?
16. 3 favorite comments ever received on fanfic.
17. Any mean comments? How'd you deal with it? Who laid the smackdown?
18. If you could go back and revise one of your older stories, which would it be?
19. Do you make up scenes at work/on the bus/at the gym? Who are the characters that pop up the most? Do you write them down?
20. Go nuts, and talk about writing.
*(Actually you can't really choose, given I haven't written anything but White Collar... ;) )

Date: 2015-03-27 10:07 am (UTC)I'm mainly working on my Fatherhood Chronicles. I have 3 more ficlets in the pipes that I've been working on last night and tonight (keeping myself busy while running analyses on night shifts). I've been thinking about them for a while and couldn't find the time to seat and write. One is an awesome prompt from Dennih23. I should post them soon so I'll keep the surprise.
I really like working on the Chronicles. I really much enjoy fluff, and daddy Peter is an endless source of fluff and fun. It's also a softer way to deal with the finale angst.
Also the short format of each story makes it possible to post regularly while not keeping the writer pending as they're independent. And I like that format better, as a reader like an author.

Date: 2015-03-27 10:12 am (UTC)I think the comments I appreciate the most are those saying that I got the characters voices spot on, or that they could see it happen in the show. Or that something I wrote becomes someone's head canon.
i also had a comment once, about a S5 fic, where the reader said that my fic reconciled her with Peter.

Date: 2015-03-27 10:21 am (UTC)there's this one rather complicated story (ie requiring a plot) for which I even submitted an art that wasn't picked for last year's RBB. It's around the idea that Peter would appear to have gone rogue, Neal finding out and confronting him because he refuses to buy it. I have some ideas about it, but that'd require a real story, and i never found enough inspiration for it. I'd happily share more with anyone wanting to write it...

Date: 2015-03-28 03:10 pm (UTC)I'm still not sure if I'm ready to abandon the story to someone else, cause I've given it a lot of thoughts, even if not very conclusive, or if I'd rather talk the plot outline with someone and try to write it myself.
Thanks for the offfer! I'll think about it. :)

Date: 2015-03-27 10:32 am (UTC)And about the one show that I've been really involved in - White Collar - most of the time they've done a great job meeting my expectations and there isn't much I wish would have been different (apart for the finale maybe, though I'd still rather imagine what's next from canon, than rewriting the story. I respect the real writers too much to feel like "fixing" things to my own ideas)

Date: 2015-03-27 10:37 am (UTC)I don't really feel that way about my work. I wouldn't publish something unless I'm perfectly happy with it. I don't consider myself a professional writer, but that's not the point. I'm having fun writing and I'm doing my best in everything I do.
