Forget Agent Burke, this is Agent Pritchard now.
This is just in, according to Deadline, Tim will co-star in the pilot of Frankenstein, alongside Rob Kazinsky.
"Taking inspiration from the basic Mary Shelley mythology of a man brought back to life by scientists playing God, Frankenstein centers on Ray Pritchard (Hall), a morally corrupt retired cop who is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Privy to information only a dead man could possess, this former Marine and L.A. County Sheriff (Kazinsky) teams with his son, FBI Agent Duval Pritchard (DeKay), to take down the bad guys. However, though his body is new, his thoughts and desires are of a 75-year-old badass curmudgeon."
I know, right? He doesn't really look like a Duval...
Okay, let's be honest, when you read that pitch, it doesn't exactly sound like my league of shows. But hey, hopefully, Tim back on TV as soon as fall 2015! :)
ETA: For some weird anti-spam reasons, LJ wouldn't let me link back to Deadline, but you can get the link to the original article via teamdekay.org :)

Date: 2015-03-11 12:49 pm (UTC)Still, it'll be good for Tim! Though one hopes he doesn't get typecast as a FBI agent after this!

Date: 2015-03-11 01:21 pm (UTC)If Tim said yes to this project I think it will be interesting to watch ..
who wouldn't want to watch Matt as guest star in an ep?

Date: 2015-03-11 02:22 pm (UTC)No, not Philip Baker Hall (who I think is a fab actor, btw), but Rob Kazinsky. Not as yummy as Matty, and certainly not in Tim's league, but then who is?

Date: 2015-03-11 02:53 pm (UTC)If it's that acceptable quality of show, I can go with it.
Plus, we know that whatever material Tim is given, he raises the bar higher. :)

Date: 2015-03-11 02:56 pm (UTC)But it's funny because back when he was doing Carnivale, Tim was saying it was nice not having to wear a suit and shave every morning, for a change (and then he did Tell Me You Love Me, White Collar and now this LOL)

Date: 2015-03-11 03:05 pm (UTC)Obviously not Matt, and definitely not Tim, but still easy on the eyes. Which could be good for ratings (and thus the success of the show).
And actually, despite the
vaguely wtforiginal synopsis, it's gonna be an interesting dynamic, that in this partnership, the youngest one is actually the father. A father/son dynamic where Tim is gonna be the son, for once?no subject
