Why do you keep killing people off?! First Siegel, now Will Gardner?! I liked those guys! I wanted to see more of them!
Plus, I've just watched the CSI season 14 opener on French TV. Argh! This is horrible. I actually only saw the end. From the little I know about Brass's daughter storyline, this is just cruel. Poor Jim... His daughter (who is not his real daughter?!) killed the love of his life... Glad I don't watch that show anymore.
Well, from what I've understood, Brass' daughter was kidnapped with Morgan (who is Ecklie's daughter, introduced in a recent season). They were kidnapped by a psycho. Except at the end, the girls escaped and it appeared Brass' daughter was in it with the kidnapper. She shot Morgan (who survived). And she killed Brass's wife/girlfriend (I don't really know, but he was devastated).
I've only seen seasons 10 to 13 and a few random reruns on TV, so my own knowledge of everyone's backstory is quite limited and confused...
But yeah, I found it totally WTF and cruel. This is exactly the kind of story I don't like in this kind of show.
LOL It seems to go by wave. Last year I felt like everyone was getting arrested/accused of murder. Then everyone was going to DC. Now everyone gets unexpectedly killed. /o\
Also, you'd better not be named Kate if you're a fictive character on a TV show. You'll get either shot or blown up... ;-)
Hahahahaha WHAT. I mean, is it even possible to get more manpain from a story than that?
CSI used to be really good! All of them did. (Until the point where I dropped them, I had watched every single episode, and CSI New York was my first writing-fandom.) They all went downhill after main characters left, though.
Yes, they all go to a point where they overdo themselves. It happened to ER, to House.
I watched the first season of CSI recently. It's funny how cold and old fashion it looks. The technology and the serie making has changed so much in 13 years!
Otherwise, I've never really watched that show. Actually none of the CSI. I just started because my boyfriend was watching season 10. I really didn't like the seasons with L. Fishburne. The end of his story arc was truly horrible (there's a reason why I watch White Collar and not CSI, or Criminal Minds. I hate those dark twisted stories)
Ted Lanson's character is great though. And the new blonde girl too. They make a nice pair. I'm relatively new to the show so it's still fresh to me. It's still a nice show, though I understand that after 14 seasons, you get bored.
Yes I know what you mean. Though there's a couple shows I watch just for distraction and don't feel very invested in. Like CSI, NCIS... I don't mind changes there. For exemple, I actually appreciate the new girl on NCIS. This show needs fresh blood.
