I'm torn about that - using real songs. When they do that, they have to pay a pretty steep licensing fee and it also creates problems when they want to air the show internationally (either have to pay more or replace the music).

I think I'd rather have them use the money for location shoots.

If you've noticed, they've eliminated a lot of real music in favor of in-house work and they have expanded their location shooting significantly. Almost 60% of each show is location, not set.

It's definitely a tradeoff.

I loved this! I love this song and it fits perfectly with the situation. The clips you choose you were great. Of course I loved the ending with the hugs. We need more hugs. :)

Great use of actual footage without a lot of clippage in the beginning. Peter making coffee and sad near pathetic expressions in later clips. It was just so natural. Not sure if on purpose, but use of light/bright colored clips mid way contrast nicely with darker clips later. Well done.

Yes, I did enhance the clips for the "what we be doing now" parts, making like a dream or something.
And yes, they did a pretty good job at editing in the episode itself and I thought it fitted well with the intro of the song. I just cut out a few bits and put the clips in a different order.
