2. Something new - talk about a new fanwork of yours!
Fanfic
I'm currently working on my Big Bang. First time I signed up as a writer. It's 15 000 words (quite the achievement for me. A record actually!). It's almost done, though I'm having some troubles finishing it. Too much things on my hands, I can't really find time to get in a writing mood.
But I can't really talk about it in detail, so let's talk about my last published fic. Keeping You Close to My Heart. Which is a ficlet really. This one started from a meme question about my head canons. And one of them is that Peter keeps his baseball card in his wallet. Then Elr said I should write the fic where Neal finds out, and her birthday happened to be around that time AND I felt in a creative mood.

The problem with Tim, is that we don't have a lot of recent photoshoots. I'm not super fan of the White Collar promo pictures, and as much as I love Eric Williams' pictures of Tim, they're getting old. So, you can imagine my joy when that Cambria Style magazine came out, with a couple of swooning pictures. I just had to make some art of them (meaning: make a couple of wallpapers so that I could stare at them conveniently).
Problem: my 2 favorites were in portrait orientation, and not HQ enough that I could zoom them until it fit my screen. So I got to be creative, to find something esthetically staisfying. Also I love black and white, and I thought it would be nice to have Tim and Elisa's picture in black and white except for her red dress. Add a trick or two so that it won't appear that the photo is still a little too zoomed and to give it a soft feel, et voilà. Quite simple, but that's how I like it.

Well, my last video is I'm addicted to You, which I made for Tim's birthday. The original clip was 2 girls breaking into a bank. It goes South. One dies, the other is heartbroken... Well, apparently all it takes nowadays for me to find a White Collar connection is "bank robber". Cause, really it's not even like it was fitting White Collar. Also, the song didn't really fit Peter and Neal either. Oh, but wait, I could totally do a vid on Tim with that song. It's actually a perfect song, and I love that song. Also his birthday is coming up (this was actually taking place mid May). I have to do this. Like NOW. I immediatly got the idea that I should tell the story on how, by watching White Collar, I accidently fell in love with Tim, which then precipitated everything else. So start with Peter appearing on the screen, then some White Collar, then all the other stuff.
And now, I love the song even more because each time I hear it I'm picturing Tim. ;-)

paganlowroader who was determined to tell Tim about it, Tim, always a sweetheart, did watch it, and liked it, I think. Well, he didn't seem too freaked out when he saw me after watching it... So, that's good. Not sure what Elisa would think about it, though... ;-)
