A little meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] leesa_perrie :)

1. Are you named after someone?
My real name, no. My online name, it is after Aragorn.

2. When was the last time you cried?
Finding Dory probably. Or the finale of POI. Whichever I saw last.

3. Do you like your handwriting?
Depends. When I have time to write properly, yes. When I have to write fast, it all goes to hell...

4. What is your favourite lunch meat?
Beef.

5. Do you have any kids?
No.

6. If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
Probably. I'm a rather easy going person.

7. Do you use sarcasm?
Never.

8. Do you still have your tonsils?
Yes

9. Would you bungee?
Hmmm... If I had to face the situation, yes, sure. But I'm not going to particularly look for it. I'd be more interested in paragliding, or parachute jump.

10. What is your favourite cereal?
Nesquick cereals, which apparently doesn't exist in the US, to my great disappointement.

11. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
Only if I can't take them off without.

12. Do you think you're strong?
Depends about what. Probably more than I think.

13. What is your favourite ice cream?
Mint with chocolate chips. And Cedar Crest, a local Wisconsin brand make the best in the world.

14. What's the first thing you notice about someone?
Good question. I think it's their ability to make me feel at ease with them. That tends to be the lasting impression I'll get from a person, based on the first time we met.

15. Red or pink?
Red.

16. What is your least favourite thing about yourself?
I was gonna go for something complicated and very personal, but I just remembered.... I've become lactose intolerant and THAT SUCKS !! I hate it!!

17. What colour pants and shoes are you wearing right now?
Blue jeans, clear blue for once. And dark blue and red sneakers.

18. What was the last thing you ate?
Cereals for breakfast.

19. What are you listening to right now?
The French radio.

20. If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
Red.

21. What's your favourite smell?
Chocolate.

22. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
My two best friends from France! We never do that, we usually just chat online. But one of them was feeling particularly chatty so we tried a 3 way conversation. Of course, it was night for them, but middle afternoon, on a Friday for me (ie. I was supposed to work!). And of course, with them, it lasted a tiny bit longer than anticipated. I had to cut it short (after 2 hours...) cause it was time for the Friday drink by the lake with my local buddies...

23. What's your favourite sport to watch?
Handball and tennis.

24. What's your real hair colour?
That's kinda difficult to say. I used to be more reddish as a kid, but I'm more like brown, or auburn. Somewhere in between, depending on the weather.

25. What's your eye colour?
Brown.

26. Do you wear contacts?
Nope.

27. What's your favourite food?
A big T-bone on the grill. Or raspberries. Or chocolate. All of them, but not together, that would be weird.

28. Scary movie or happy ending?
Happy ending. Or satisfying ending. I'm just not into scary movies so anything but that really...

29. Last movie you watched?
Alien. It was on TV this weekend. What? did I just say I don't like scary movies? And well, turns out that indeed there are not my favorite thing. But at least now I have seen Alien.

30. What colour shirt are you wearing?
somewhere between blue or green.

31. Summer or winter?
Summer! God, it's only September, let's not talk about Winter just yet.

32. Hugs or kisses?
Why choose?

33. What's your favourite dessert?
Chocolate cake.

34. What book are you reading?
I just started On the Road, by Kerouac.

35. What is your profile pic?
A cute little pic of Tim DeKay which is the only reason I do memes really.

36. What did you last watch on TV?
hum... Well, so the past few days I had been watching episodes of Person of Interest - don't judge me, you've all been there! Technically, they were on my computer, though displayed on my TV. But last night... WGN America was showing .... Season 5 of POI! So I literally paused POI (season 3) to watch POI... But really who can resist that intro of 5x01 with No Wow by the Kills? And also, the intro of episode 5x02! ROTF. (I did stop after 2 episodes, because I don't have WGN in HD and I like to be able to see every single little hair on John's head - so I went back to my own rewatch in 1080p)

During the commercial break there was a prevention message about the danger of addiction... *rolls eyes* addiction? what addiction?

37. Favourite sound?
It's really hard, really. It has to be someone's voice. A voice can have a big effect on me. After lots of thoughts, I'll go with Alan Rickman's.

38.Rolling Stones or Beatles?
Nope, no taking sides.

39. What is the farthest you've been from home?
I think Japan is a slightly bit farther from France than the US West coast.

40. Do you have a special talent?
If I told you I would have to kill you...
Well, I do have a very special talent to fall way over my head for fictional characters and the actors portraying them.
But more seriously, my special talent lies in my ability to see the glass half-full of life.

41. Where were you born?
At the hospital.

Ah, but would it taste good, that's more to the point!! Not for me, as I don't like chocolate (yes, shock, horror, etc, etc), but it wouldn't surprise me if some chef somewhere has tried this with reasonable results!! :D :D

it's only September, let's not talk about Winter just yet.

LOL!! Though also, lots of hugs. Hmm, is that a lolhug?

I see no addiction... well, maybe a little one... :p :D

Hee! I love this, and am thoroughly enjoying everyone's answers!! <3

I'm totally with you on chocolate, but I prefer strawberries and chocolate to raspberries. I don't dislike raspberries, but just prefer strawberries if it comes down to a choice!

Well, I'll forgive you because you're British, but no, there are certain things that we just don't mix together. :-P Though raspberries and chocolate, totally. That's heaven on Earth.

I'll go for the lolhug. :)

Addicted, moi? Nah! pfff... Proof is, I can quit whenever I want. Easy peasy.
Just... Well, I don't want to.
And really, apart from the lack of exercise it creates, it's not like there was any danger for my health. Heh, believe it or not, John Reese is a lot less dangerous than drugs.

I really like strawberries as a fruit, but I tend not to really like stuff that tastes straberries (yogurts, candies...)

But in any case, Raspberries are my ultimate favorite fruits.

To each their own on berries/fruit, for sure! I'm not a huge fan of chocolate and bananas, either, but I know plenty of people who think that's awesome!

And I was trying to add to my original comment, but I had to leave the computer for a bit, and you replied while I was gone, sooo.... What I was going to say was:
I just remembered, re: your lactose intolerance. A friend of mine had that same thing, where even milk chocolate became an issue for her, and (through a set of circumstances) ended up taking a probiotic that was especially for lactose intolerance. And after taking it for several months, she eventually became able to eat cheese, ice cream, etc., again, at least as long as she doesn't go bonkers. It might be worth a try?

I found some food supplement called LactAid. You take it when you eat lactose stuff and it seems to work well enough for me. I do have to take like 2 or 3 pills at once, but it does prevent headaches and stomach issues. So luckily I can still put cheese on my pastas! And eat ice-creams!

But seriously that was like such a horrible thing to find out. I eat so many dairies. Yogurts, sour creams in food, cheese,...

Yes, LactAid helped her, too, esp. when she'd eat food others prepared and she wasn't quite sure of the dairy content, etc. But the probioics helped her not even have to take LactAid, so that was a bonus, she thought!

And yeah... it's like a lot of things that people have to avoid. I've got a friend in NZ who has Celiac, and gluten is in allll kinds of things that I'd have never thought of, like tabasco sauce! I don't use tabasco much, but she was using a US recipe, and when she checked, yep, it was in there, too! :-P It's amazing, the stuff we don't think about till we "have" to!

Hey, just what are you saying about British cuisine?!! We don't all eat fried Mars bars you know!! LOL! :D :D

And lol, John is less dangerous than drugs!! Yes, I can see that! :D

Ah good to know. I'll investigate. All hope is not lost then...

Guess I should be happy that it's not gluten... It's frustrating enough as it is...

Yeah, I thought that was at least hopeful! I mean, it's always possible it wouldn't work with everyone, but it's certainly worth a shot!

And yes, exactly! Lactose is problematic, for sure, but it's at least *some*what easier to avoid than gluten, among other things! :-P

Food allergies are tricky to navigate and can be a real pain. POI is fun addiction. It was a series I enjoyed. Have to look for a new show to get hooked onto. Some series start with so much promise but they can rarely keep the quality.

Exactly. And I can't say there's a lot of promising series coming up... :(
