Today on Tim DeKay TV: The Russell Girl

Sorry for the lack of updates the last couple of weeks. Between real life and creative fever, I didn't find the time to broadcast anything.

For today, I offer you Tim's supporting role in the tv movie The Russell Girl. The movie itself is, to be honest, disappointing. It had a good potential but loses itself in a useless sub-story that unfortunately doesn't even involve Tim's character...
Tim here is the heroin's father. And oh boy, who wouldn't want Tim has a father ?

Tim plays well, as always even if his appearance isn't that big. I think there's a lot of Tim in this role of a loving and caring father.

A technical question: Why is it, that I can't watch the videos with my PC (Windows XP) but with my laptop (Windows Vista)? Can anybody explain? Or even solve the problem?

It may be due to an out of date software on your older computer. Probably Flash.
This video is encoded by Vimeo just like all the others, so it must be a problem of compatibility between Vimeo and your computer.
Can you watch other videos (like youtube vids) with your XP computer ?

Yes, I can (ops, sorry Mr. Obama). That's what irritates me (but on the other hand, I have absolutely no clue about computers at all, so...). The videos on Vimeo simply don't start, there's only a black screen where the video should play. No errors, nothing at all.

If it's all the videos on Vimeo, my guess is that it's a Flash problem. Vimeo use a more demanding player than Youtube.

It'll help you check if your Flash software is up-to-date enough for Vimeo.
I think that the last version of Flash should support XP, cause I can watch videos on Vimeo on an XP system.
