Hey, any tank left for me? That show is *really* bad for my poor little heart. I thought I'd die before the end of the episode.

On an unrelated note, thank you, American Airlines and Coach USA, for flying and driving me home on time. I do miss the warmth of Texan spring, but I wouldn't have missed that finale for anything in the world.

Duval was never so happy to see his father!

OMG the tension!! My poor heart. Though I guess it's proven now that my heart is solid, since I didn't die, neither last week nor this week. But boy was I tensed.
And all those talks, instead of running to the rescue!!!

I mean, really, don't get me wrong, those were nice talks. I really liked Mary and Jimmy. That little kiss on Mary's forehead was cute.
And the talk between Jimmy and Duval was very poignant.

Just, you know, Gracie was between the hands of TERRIBLY EVIL BAD guys!!! Go save her, and deal with your issues and imminent death later!
But I guess, they knew that, as all the TV bad guys, Connor will take his time...

(Though we don't actually know how hurt Gracie is. But for my own sake, we're gonna say she's okay. A PG TV show wouldn't dare actually damaging a kid, would it?)

But hey, the Pritchards to the rescue!! And they are damn badass. Also, Duval is a very sexy badass, just saying...

Though, Duval's dispair in the empty lab was truly heartbreaking.

Don't mess with the Pritchards.

Angry Duval is a little scary...

And then the relief to see Gracie, only to realize it's a hologram... Oh my heart!! And they're living on a plane!! Seriously, I had to check the timing to make sure there was still enough time and that it wouldn't be a cliffhanger - it was just the mid-show commercial break cliffhanger. Pfew. That was a mean twist!!

It's okay, Gracie, we're going home. Ara, breath...

She's gone... *dies*
Oh the rollercoaster....
And Otto saved the day!!! I knew it!!
Otto has issues, and was blinded by his own obsession over Mary, but he saw how wrong it all was. Connor's use of violence, right before his eyes, seemed to unsettle him. And I guess he was touched by Duval's love for Gracie. Otto did have a heart, and in the end, he did the right thing.
His speech, recognizing they are monsters, was very touching. He did what Mary would have wanted. Except she would probably not have wanted him to die. But I guess he couldn't face the idea of what would come next for him. Prison, a life without Mary, no more Lookinglass...

And Mary, poor Mary, losing her brother and her boyfriend at the same time! (Or so she thought)

Seriously, they all made me cry. *tears*

Then of course, there was Jimmy and Duval. *heart breaks*
"I don't want you to go"
"I got to be with my son, go be with your daughter."

*cries* *be still my heart*

Don't cry, Duval, don't cry!

(on a side note, I find it a bit weird that Jimmy is so focused on Duval, but barely spends enough time with Helen.)

It was hard that Duval had to tell Jimmy to stay away. I was a bit mad at him last night - it seems to me Jimmy earned the right to let Gracie and Helen know. But on rewatch, I see Duval's point more, and he was actually sad too, and it's only for a while. When things will cool down, Jimmy will come back.

Assuming that he wouldn't have gone all cuckoo by then... *shivers*
In the meanwhile he can enjoy sharing bath with Alexa. ;)

I love that Otto came back as the new Arthur!! (I was sad to see Arthur go!)

I'm glad that it ended in a way I can live with, but they opened so great things for season 2, that'd be a shame not to renew it!!
