The answers:
Peter Burke, White Collar
01: OTP and why? Peter/El. What's not to love about them? They're adorable, they don't fight - or when they do, they make sure to fix it, and they forgive each other. As El said, they work. And they just love each other so much. I think they're both convinced they married up. Which is probably what keeps them on their toes, and make them try to be better for each other. Also why they're getting nervous when they're afraid to lose each other.
02: brOTP and why? That one is hard. The obvious answer is Peter and Neal, but by the end Peter and Mozzie really grew on me. Well, I guess that makes it my brOT3, cause those three have a very complicated relationship, but with Mozzie and Peter becoming sincere friends, it does make it a brOT3. Three people that couldn't be more different, but accepting each other's differences.
03: NOTP and why? I honestly can't see anyone but El with Peter. El is Peter's one true love.
To me, his relationship with Neal is different. It's purely platonic. Also, I honestly believe Peter could live without Neal, but he couldn't live without El. And I actually like that both Peter and Neal still have an independent life from each other. They have their own love life. They're the icing on the cake of each other's life, which, to me, makes their relationship more beautiful. There's no dependence, and yet, they still choose to fight for their friendship.
04: First moment you knew you liked this character and why? You know, I don't know. I just realized one day I was rooting for him. Maybe the end of the Pilot. When Peter recreates a tropical atmostphere on Neal's balcony (or tries to) for El, and he knows it's cheesy, but it's so adorable. That's when I knew El was a damn lucky wife. Then I do remember that great shot of Peter in Hughes office at the beginning of episode 3. And I just had this wow reaction. I actually paused the episode to make a cap. My first cap for White Collar. ;) And as the show developed, there were all those great Peter/El moments - you had to flirt?! - and later, Peter and Mozzie secretly teaming up to look after Neal...
05: Favorite line from this character and why? There are two: "there are more important things in life than a nice view. Like having people in your life you care about. I don't want to imagine the man I'd be without those people. I like the man I am." and "Justice is restoring order, not furthering chaos." There, Peter Burke in a nutshell. Though I'm also quite found of the widow of opportunity joke.
06: Favorite scene for this character and why? There are just so many! How am I supposed to pick just one? There's the opening scene of Checkmate, that wrenched my gut so hard. There are all the adorable scenes with El - the ice skating was a pretty good one. His face when he sees the sonogram on his computer. I also absolutely love Peter's giddy joy when he's cuffing a bad guy, or that little satisfaction of outsmarting Neal. Oh and that laugh when he doesn't believe Neal's explanation that he jumped off the roof after switching the Degas. But if I have to pick just one, it would have to be that slow mo edit of Kevin the bartender. Oh wait, there's the hug with El after he was released from prison...
07: One way in which you relate to this character and why? Well, he's my ideal man. Caring, honest, smart, easy on the eye... So that's one way I relate to him.
And in term of personality, I understand him. I'm this "boring" honest person. I'm not pretending to be as good a person as he is, but I that's who I'm trying to be.
08: Something this character does/has done that embarrasses you and why? Maybe the way, sometimes, he jumps to conclusion a little too fast, and gets a little childish in the way he doesn't confront Neal about it (about the treasure, or about Neal showing James the tape).
09: Cinnamon roll or problematic fave and why? Cinnamon roll? I'm not sure what this question is supposed to be.
10: One thing you would like to see happen to this character? I'd like he and Neal to find their way back. I don't know if they'd work together again, but at least be in each other's lives, as friends. Neal having lunch at the Burkes' on Sundays, babysitting Little Neal. Peter trying to get Neal and Sara back together (cause they're definitely his OTP).
Duval Pritchard, Second Chance
01: OTP and why? Well, there are not that many options given half the characters are his family... Strangely I get more vibes for Duval/Mary than Jimmy/Mary. I think they could be a good match. Duval needs a good, caring woman to take care of him.
02: brOTP and why? Oh definitely Jimmy. Their dynamic is just sooo good. Both the tension from their heavy history, and the new brotherly aspect that them being almost the same age creates. I love that the father/son dynamic actually sifts from one to another depending on the situation.
03: NOTP and why? Hmmm.... Duval and Arthur? ;)
04: First moment you knew you liked this character and why? Well... the moment I heard Tim was cast in Second Chance? I mean, really, unless he was a pervert serial killer, I'm not sure I could *not* like him. I mean, it's not just that it's Tim, I do like a good FBI agent, and I like how protective he is of his family, and how hard he tries to be a good father, and be the man of the family. Actually, I think in the pilot, at the end, when he tells Jimmy not to kill the bad guy, that it was "his case", I knew he'd be a good guy that I could honestly root for.
05: Favorite line from this character and why? oh boy, that's a hard one. Duval has almost all the best lines in this show. There's the "my dead - not so dead father" and "Don't you have a tank to go back to?"
06: Favorite scene for this character and why? The opening of episode 4, when Duval learns Jimmy is his father. Tim just knocked it out of the park. Oh the feelings!
07: One way in which you relate to this character and why? I'm not sure. I don't have much in common with Duval. I guess, I don't like his name either? ;)
08: Something this character does/has done that embarrasses you and why? Telling his daughter blantly she couldn't see her boyfriend anymore was not exactly his brightest moment...
09: Cinnamon roll or problematic fave and why? Cinnamon roll. Wait, I don't actually like cinnamon. Chocolate. All the way.
10: One thing you would like to see happen to this character? Something good. Anything really. This man needs some happiness in his life, or he's going to break down... And I really hope he'll make peace with his father.
Brian Finch, Limitless
01: OTP and why? It clearly hasn't happened yet. Just so you know, Brian, I'm available...
02: brOTP and why? Brian, Ike and Mike. ;)
03: NOTP and why? I don't really want to see him end with Rebecca. I like her, but I don't really see sparks between the two. And I'm not sure he's the kind of guy for her. Plus that's so cliché.
04: First moment you knew you liked this character and why? When he stood up to Senator Morra. Actually, way before that, from the start. The fact that the first thing he does when on NZT is helping his father. I guess I just like good guys, and Brian is really a good person at heart. He is very conflicted each time he has to lie, betray someone, do something wrong...
05: Favorite line from this character and why? Headquarters! The "!" is important. I just like his goofiness, and how he refuses to blend in with the FBI seriousness.
06: Favorite scene for this character and why? I don't remember everything - I haven't rewatched it all multiple times - but probably the scene where he stands up to Morra. I honestly wasn't sure he'd had the guts.
07: One way in which you relate to this character and why? We're about the same age! :D yay, I'm having a crush on someone my age! So, we're more or less at the same stage in our lives, and have kind of the same questions and doubts. Where am I? Is it what I wanted in my life?
08: Something this character does/has done that embarrasses you and why? His terrible taste for sweaters. But hey, he wouldn't be Brian without those, right?
09: Cinnamon roll or problematic fave and why? Chocolate.
10: One thing you would like to see happen to this character? right now I really really want him

<lj-cut text="Duval Pritchard, Second Chance">

<lj-cut text="Brian Finch, Limitless">
Chocolate.
10: One thing you would like to see happen to this character? right now I really really want him
<lj-spoiler title="spoiler for last week"s episode">to make up with his family!!! *cries*</lj-spoiler>
