Old guy at the hospital: "Yeah, they say 70 years of red meat is what did it to me."
Jimmy: "That's what they said to me, too! Not... 70, obviously. I mean, more like, what am I, 35, 30?"
That's silly, but it craked me up. :)
This and Jimmy trying to go through the brick wall... so LOL Not that strong Jimmy... I have a feeling the healing power of the tank is gonna come in handy a few times... ;)
All the jokes about Jimmy being not dead anymore, and not being Jimmy Pritchard, though obvious, were a lot of fun.

You!
I'm really enjoying the Duval/Jimmy interactions. Interesting tension there. I wonder how Duval will feel when he'll find out Jimmy is his dad (which shouldn't be long now, looking by how smart and determined he is). At least he'll be relieved that there wasn't another kid he gave his name too, while he has to run around with Duval, heh.
The scene with Helen and Gracie was sweet. Loved their little complicity watching Duval and Jimmy's stare down.
Speaking of, Duval sure had a lot of questions! Loved how he fired them all at once.
I'd be lying if I said I'm not missing my Peter, but I like seeing Tim developing someone different. Darker, more badass, less open, less adorable. But still with all those faces and looks, and wearing suits like no one else. And very suiting bullet-proof vests!
I really enjoy Jimmy's sense of humor. His way to extort confession, not so much... I know this is part of the whole story - Jimmy was a corrupt cop - but still, makes me cringe.
Not sure what to make about Mary's assistant breaking down. Are we gonna have a complicated love-square, where everyone has feeling for Mary?
Oh and wasn't the opening scene, with both young and old Jimmys awesomely freaky?
Note for Santa in the future: I want one of those transparent tablets!
Also, side note, it's really fun to have the cast (and whoever is in charge of the official SC account) to be live-tweeting with fans. :)

Date: 2016-01-22 03:21 pm (UTC)and for the transparent tablet no no I don't want anything like that so anyone can see what you are doing and watching!!
It's already a pain listen people speaking to their mobile telling everything about their life and you have to try to not listen!!
But how you can do it when one sits near you on the train and she talks for all the time ...one hour!!
Really can't you wait to be home for that ???!!!

Date: 2016-01-22 05:31 pm (UTC)I can't wait for Duval to find out. Because it's sure gonna be an emotional scene (and I'm a sucker for emotional Tim), and because it'll make the Duval/Jimmy dynamic really interesting.
I also found interesting that Helen, the sister, seemed a lot more welcoming to an unknown brother than Duval.

Date: 2016-01-23 05:15 am (UTC)I loved this episode even more than the last. I actually wonder who will put together the pieces first - Gracie or Duval - both are so smart and seem to be on to something. I love Jimmy's (do we call him James now?) humor, and I actually really am enjoying the chemistry between he and Mary. I do agree, though... her assistant's breakdown was a little much for me. I'm excited to see where this is headed!
And Duval... Duval in suits, Duval in Kevlar, Duval at home being super protective of his family... all of it makes me squee so much. That little thing Tim did at the very end of the episode when he walked away from the bar with his arm out - I'm sure I've seen him do that a thousand times before in White Collar... and it just made me so happy. It's the little things, I guess.
Anyway... Thanks for doing Squee posts for Second Chance!! It's so exciting to have a group to talk about it with! :D I've missed this!

Date: 2016-01-23 05:27 am (UTC)You're right Gracie seems to be very much on to it too. I hope we'll see her more. It was nice to see her question her grandfather's suicide. I had been wondering about this - how she'd feel.
Still lots of things to explore...
And yes, I do like watching Tim. Comparing what's similar to WC (or previous things) and what's different. And also, different from who he is for real. I find that fascinating.
