Granted, there is still the side arc story about Beckett and the-analyst-that-faked-his-background-but-who-cares investigating in secret something way bigger than them, and for which Beckett doesn't feel like she owe her husband the slightest explanation.
Oh and it's driving me crazy that they keep throwing back at Castle that last year Beckett trusted him after he disappeared for 2 months. He was freaking kidnapped, that's absolutely, totally different. He wasn't hiding anything. And for the record, Kate, he did drop the subject when he was told it was better he didn't remember. So STOP IT NOW.
Okay, now that it's out, on to the good stuff.
Castle trying to win Kate back. ♥♥ You gotta love this guy. He's so adorable in his love for Kate.
Castle as a college professor, down to bow tie and velvet jacket. ROTF.
But the best part, OMG, Ryan and Espo's attempt to pass for students. And failling.
The case went a little over the top with the secret prison experiment, but hey, that's Castle. And Kate almost showed some reason.
Still convinced that the analyst will betray her at some point. And Castle will save the day.
Because after seven years, Kate, you should know that you can't ask Castle to stay away. It *never* works.
All in all, that episode has restored my faith in the show once again. I feel like it's been the same scheme every year for the past 3 years. Not convinced by the one or two first episodes, and then they go back to what they do best: those fun and crazy cases. And I guess that by season 8, I can live with a couple episodes a season that I don't like. All I ask, show, is that you don't pull a House on me.
The Good Wife is going on its seventh year. I won't hold it against them that they outlived White Collar, because even if it's not the brilliance of the early seasons, it's still solid writing, and one of the best shows still on air. Not sure what they have in store for us this season, but I trust them for some good entertainement.
Bonus point for Eli's new haircut.
Oh, and you'll never guess who was the sweet and lovely first client of Alicia... Bridget Reagan! Second bonus point.
Limitless. Hmm.... Great cast, but not completely convinced. The guy can do it all, and there isn't even a negative side effect anymore... Limitless capacities, but a limit show...
The Martian, or Mars like you were there. Except Matt Damon is the one who has to "science the shit out of it".
It was a terrific book, and it is an awesome movie - that was smart enough to keep all the best stuff from the book, and the best lines too.
Spoiler alert: Sean Bean doesn't die

Good Wife not my show.
Limitless looks good, but the lead us annoying and Dexter's sister is even more annoying. But I like the idea... will see, probably will leave it as a background show. Then I went and found the movie that came from, not bad.
I JUST saw the Martian - it was really, really awesome. And I will trust you to verify the science ;) But it was fun and touchy feely and oh woooww.
And hey some national pride - the Hub base? Was created by Polish, Szczecin-based company!! :D
