The Madison Chronicles - Entering year 2

A year ago, I was stepping out of the plane in the tiny Dane County airport, Madison, WI. I was jetlagged, exhausted, anxious and hopeful. A year! It's hard to believe.

And to celebrate that first anniversary, I moved to a new apartment. Adios roommates. I won't miss you!

I will miss the sunrises though.

But I'll get sunsets instead!

LOL I'm a "winter sunrises" person. ;) But it was lovely this winter to open an eye, reach for the blinds and sneak an eye out the window to a lovely sky.
And that "sunrise" shot here is actually from yesterday morning at 7 am. Last sunrise for the road...

I'm on my own!! No more crazy roommate!! \o/

1- that was someone I knew/chose willingly
2- someone not too messy.

I lived for some time with my ex. And that's not the reason we broke up. ;)

Oh I'm definitely not a morning person. I only catch sunrises between about November and January, because the sun rises late enough for that. ;)

I liked seeing the sunrises as the first thing I'd see in the morning. Placed me in a goood mood. But we have pretty cool sunsets here too. So hopefully it's a good tradeoff (and also NO ROOMMATE! - that beats any other consideration LOL)
